I use my handy meal planning calendar (see below to print or download) to plan out my breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners for the week. Maybe you go out to lunch everyday and just want to plan your dinners. You can also record meals you know will be eaten away from home. Using the meal plan gives you a big picture view of the week ahead. If you know you will be getting home late one night, you can throw something in the crock pot in the morning.
