We’ve almost hit the halfway point! In some ways it has flown by compared to my first pregnancy simply because I don’t have as much time to sit around and dwell on being pregnant. In other ways, I can’t believe I have twenty weeks to go. I feel so much more ready for this baby to get here this time. I guess just because I know what I am getting myself into and I am just ready to do it! 🙂
This week, baby weighs half a pound and is the size of a mango!
Still hanging out around 152. I am really good at gaining a pound per week!
My physical therapist is still recommending I don’t go back to CrossFit or teach Aqua Fitness until I get my back pain under control. I have been diligent about my physical therapy exercises and I am feeling MUCH better, but as soon as I do too much it flares back up again (like the day we spent hours walking around IKEA getting things for Avery and the baby). I am hoping by next week I can try some light exercise again. I have been going on walks with Avery almost every day, but that’s about it.
The burping/digestion is majorly improving. I cannot tell you how relieved I am. I am obviously still dealing with the back pain, but it’s improving.
Nothing much. I’m still not down with milk. I also learned that frozen yogurt makes me feel kinda yucky, but regular yogurt (and obviously ice cream) are fine. Go figure.
ICE CREAM! I also snuck a piece of cheesecake from IKEA because it was an “Eat for Free” weekend. To say we took advantage would be an understatement. 🙂 I did have a veggie meatball wrap for lunch…balance, people!
Speaking of food, if you are raising your own little real food family, be sure to today is the LAST DAY to get The Paleo Family Toolkit, full of real-food resources for your family. The toolkit will be on sale from May 4-9, but you can get these freebies today just by visiting the site to learn more.
This is getting way better! With my back pain and nausea under control, I’ve been getting a lot more sleep.
Looking Forward to
Our anatomy scan! Only one week to go!
Baby/Pregnancy Related Purchases
Too many! We made our big trip to IKEA this weekend. Most of the items were for Avery’s big boy room, but we did get the baby’s first stuffed animal (we got Avery’s at IKEA, too) and a few items to help organize the nursery. Isn’t he a cute little guy?
Any Pregnancy Dreams
No, still just having a lot of weird dreams. Nothing pregnancy or baby related.
Any Baby Movement?
Lots of kicks and rolling around. I am still the only one who can feel it, though. 🙁
