Eat Your Vegetables!
Once I was too old for my mom to tell me to each my vegetables, my husband had to do it. It wasn’t until I was nearly 30 that I expanded my veggie tasting horizons beyond raw carrots with ranch dressing and corn on the cob. Now, I love most vegetables, but there are still a few that I need a little coaxing to eat on a regular basis. Sometimes, it is all in the preparation. I’m not a huge fan of plain zucchini or yellow squash, but if they are mixed in with other veggies or have lots of flavor, then I will happily gobble them up!
This Green Sauce Makes Everything Taste Better
I’ve been making this green sauce for a while now, but I always just throw everything together and never write it down. I guess a good food blogger would measure and take photos and all that stuff – well it took me about a year, but I’ve finally done just that. 🙂 This green herb sauce is wonderful on seafood, chicken, steak and roasted veggies. You can even use it as a salad dressing. The flavor is light and citrusy and I love the green color. Enjoy!
